Welcome to TropicalFishaholic. TropicalFishaholic is an aquarium site and forum for everyone that has been biten by the waterbug, everyone that has kept tanks for a while and just can’t get enough, everyone that are suffering from MTS (Multi Tank Syndrome). Beginners are of course welcome as well but the site is primarily targeting aquarists that has been around for a while and some articles can therefore be hard to understand for anyone that still hasn’t grasped the basic of fishkeeping. Other articles might be very helpful to Beginner and advanced aquarist alike.
We publish articles about fresh and saltwater fish and is despite our name not a site solely for tropical fish, we are into native and coldwater fish as well. If it swims, walks or crawls below the water surface this is the place to discuss it. We welcome members to publish their articles on this site and members that have proven themselves to be good writers are able to publish articles on the front page themselves.
We use editorial discretion and not all articles that are sent to us will be published. We will only publish material that we feel contribute something to our readers. Articles can be about fish, aquatic plants, invertebrates or other aquatic animals. We prefer to only publish articles that hasn’t been published before but will in rare cases publish materials that have been published before if we think it will be very beneficial to our readers.
TropicalFishaholic was launched in its current reincarnation in December 2009 and is updated regularly by our knowledgeable staff. You are always able to find all our new and old articles inline. The easiest way to browse our articles is by visiting the appropriate category in the menu on the left hand side of the screen.
We hope you will like TropicalFishaholic and become a regular in our tropical fish forum.
