A short introduction to the wonderful world of the killifish. Killiefish are a lot more than just the seasonl killifish and they deserve more attention than they get from most aquarium keepers.

Harlequin Shrimp

The Harlequin shrimp lives in freshwater sponges which it cleans by eating debris and algae from the surface of the sponge. This feeding behaviour has earned them their scientific name Caridina spongicola.
