Default Will Green Barbs and Tiger Barbs School Together?

Hello all.

I've been looking for some info on this, but as usual on the Internet it is contradictory.

I'm in the process of getting a new tank ready and I like both Green and Tiger Barbs. I know they are shoaling fish so would I need to have a school of each type or will they just school together?

If someone just has a definitive answer for me I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.

Theoretically they should shoal together. I will just add that fish don't always follow the rules, so giving a definitive answer when it comes to fish behaviour is not always that simple.
