Not many! Your options are limited due to the tank size. You could possibly get away with a few Harlequin Rasboras or Glow Light tetras, but they really need to be in a larger group. You could add some shrimp, but the Gourami might eat them.
I would still urge you to increase the number of Neon's and cories in your tank. If you feel you don't want the Neon's anymore, I would try and give them to someone or see if the LFS will take them....then you could get a nice shoal of harlies or some other peaceful shoaling fish. |

I do understand! If you do try again, I would try and get the healthiest looking specimens you can from the LFS, get them home as quickly as possible and take twice as long to acclimate them to the tank water. You can either use a drip method, or place the bag in a big bowl of tank water, take half to one cup of water out of the bag and then every 10-15 mins. (for an hour or so) add a quarter of a cup of tank water very slowly down the side of the bag. Then net them out of the bag, you never want to put any of the bag water into the tank.
I would also ask the LFS what PH and temperature they have their tank water at....if it is much different to what yours is, that can also have a bearing on how long to acclimate the fish for. BTW...How is your Gourami doing? Last edited by Bernie; 05-23-2010 at 12:40 AM. |

At least neons should be in a group of 6. So you better put 3 more neons. If you can get rid of the Gourami you can get shrimps too.
